Pokalbis su KKKC rezidente Beáta Kolbašovská
renginiai Klaipėdoje
Birželio 26 d., penktadienį, 17.00 val. Klaipėdos kultūrų komunikacijų centro (KKKC) Parodų rūmuose (Didžiojoje Vandens g. 2) vyks pokalbis (Artist Talk) su KKKC rezidente Beáta Kolbašovská – menininke iš Slovakijos.
Pokalbio metu Beata pristatys savo buvusius projektus ir projektą, ties kuriuo dabar dirba Klaipėdoje. Rezidencijos metu ji intensyviai tyrinėja Klaipėdos miestą ir renginio metu perteiks tai, ką pamatė ir pajautė, pasitelkdama vizualiuosius menus. Šiuo metu jos meniniai vaizdo įrašai yra rodomi KKKC Fachverko salėje.
Beáta Kolbašovská kuria lokalias instaliacijas, gyvus vaizdinius, multimedijos performansus, „VJing“ (angl. Video Jockeying), vaizdo projekcijas, 3D animaciją ir vaizdo instaliacijas.
Kaip VJ, ji kuria gyvus vaizdinius realiu laiku, daugiausia dėmesio skirdama viešosioms erdvėms ir kiekvienos akimirkos atmosferai.
Domisi ekologija, viešąja erdve, istorine atmintimi, mąstymo procesais, nuolat ieško bendradarbiavimo galimybių, rezonanso su pasauliu ir žmonėmis, eksperimentuoja jautriai stebėdama pasaulį. Kiekviena audiovizualinė instaliacija yra kuriama atsižvelgiant į unikalią vietos atmosferą.
Beáta yra vizualiųjų menų kolektyvo „Nano VJs“ ir platformos „POMA“ (Platform of Open Media Art) įkūrėja. Viešąsias erdves ji paverčia dinamiškomis drobėmis. Šiame procese, siekdama skatinti eksperimentinę meninę kūrybą, bendradarbiauja ir su kitais menininkais, muzikantais, atlikėjais ir tyrėjais.

Kviečiu jus patirti atmosferinį lėtumą: pamatyti tai, ką paprastai praleidžiame pro akis, pajusti ryšį vienas su kitu ir aplinka. On Friday, June 26, at 5:00 p.m., Artist Talk with KKKC resident Beáta Kolbašovská—an artist from Slovakia who holds a master’s degree in new media—will take place at the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Center (KCCC) (Didžioji Vandens St. 2).
In her artist talk, she will present some of her previous projects and talk about the current project she is working on here in Klaipeda. During her residency, she is exploring the city of Klaipėda in depth, and during the event she will convey what she has seen and felt through the visual arts. Her videos are currently on display at KCCC in the Fachverk hall.
Through site-specific installations, live visuals, multimedia performances, and video mapping, she creates audiovisual experiences carefully calibrated to resonate with each location’s unique atmosphere.
As co-founder of visual collective Nano VJs and Platform of Open Media Art (POMA), she fosters experimental artistic production through collaboration with artists, musicians, performers, and researchers.
As a VJ, she creates live visuals that emerge in real-time, focusing on public space and the atmosphere of each moment. With her visual collective Nano vjs she uses collaboration and creates immersive video mappings in public space.
Her artistic approach centers on ecology, public space, slowness, perception, and sensitivity. Ephemeral moments are essential to her practice, she uses them to create meaningful interactions where audiences slow down and engage deeply with their surroundings. Each installation is a conversation with place, present conditions through observation and resonance.
„Timelessness is not about escaping time; it is about being fully present within it. I invite audiences to experience atmospheric slowness – to notice what they typically overlook, to feel connected to both the environment and one another. Through this practice, ecological awareness becomes not an abstract concern, but a lived, shared experience“, – says Beáta Kolbašovská.
